INTRO TO INDOOR CLIMBING

Intro to Indoor Climbing is designed to help Beginner level climbers get started at Cirque. A beginner climber is someone who is either brand new to climbing or has only climbed a couple of times, and has never received guidance or training about climbing.

If you would like to learn how to belay, Intro to Indoor Climbing is designed to include belay instruction as part – but not all – of its class goals. However, if you are just looking for a quick top-rope belay lesson, check out our Beginner Belay Class HERE.

  • Helping new climbers learn the absolute basics of climbing and belaying with a primary goal of empowering them to climb a variety of problems and routes.
  • Teaching them how to read grades and differentiate types of hold (crimps, slopers, jugs etc).
  • Introducing these details through experience and explanation, not from pure conversation.
  • Hint: Sign up with a friend for the best experience!

50$ / Person – Includes Day-Pass and Rental Gear so you can climb for the rest of the day!

Free for Punch-Card, EFT, and Prepaid Members

Safety waiver must be signed before your class begins; please Sign Online or arrive 10 minutes early to complete a waiver!

Because this class involves Bouldering and Belay Instruction, participants must be at least 13 years old.
